Celtic Soul Prayer Beads - Limited ‘Brighids Cross’ Collection

I’m excited to return to creating my Celtic Soul Prayer Beads. Over the years over 400 sets have headed out into the world to be held in hands, or placed on altars.

The inspiration for these beads is my relationship with the Ancestral Mother of Scotland. Some of these figures are known from folklore such as the Goddess Brighid and the great old crone of the land, the Cailleach, while other figures I’ve met out on the land and spend years building relationships with.

Prayer Bead Symbolism

Each section of these prayer beads represents the 8 festivals of the Wheel of the Year, honoring the land and its changes, its myths, stories and ecosystems.

The journey around the set begins with three silver step beads, an invitation to enter sacred space with intention. The following beads mark birth, life and death and hold their own story while the star cut quartz beads is the mystery bead, symbolising Goddess, God, the cycles of life, or the Great Mystery, however you view the divine. The mystery bead in acknowledges of the vastness that exists beyond human understanding.

While the ancient peoples of these lands may not have celebrated all eight festivals, the Wheel of the Year unites these seasonal energies Each set is finished with a pendant that sets the tone for your personal connection to the beads, whether you use them for meditation, ritual, or reflection.
