There is so much grief and sorrow in the world yet our society offers few tools to process and engage with it. Re-envisioning the Gaelic tradition of Keening, an ancient grief ritual, can return the tools of grieving into our hands.

Creativity is a path which naturally connects us to our emotions. Selecting wool and natural materials which represent your emotions (from the personal to the global), allows us to connect to our grief while we weave our stories together on a circular loom.

WEAVING GRIEF / ANCIENT GAELIC TRADITION / HEALING / TRANSFORMATION / RECLAIMING GRIEF

The Keening Circle is a way to re-envisioning keening today, inviting you to express your grief through movement and sound as you are guided through a musical journey.

Join us for a transformational ritual in reclaiming grief, a radical act in a culture which is both grief-phobic and death-denying, which can bring healing, transformation and resilience.
