Fisherman - Fishing which involved ever members of the family and formed the livelehood of whole Scottish communities around the coast, boat building and repairing, nets to dry and mend; repeating the harvest of the sea and to the scream of gulls, taking it safe to harbour.

This doll is made by Sheena Macleod who was a world famous award winning Scottish doll maker. She made 12 character styles of dolls. Today her dolls are quite rare and have become collectors items.
