This weaving is inspired by Hebridean beaches, the colour of the sea and some beach combing. It’s also inspired by the rock pools which remain at low tide.

This weaving holds three ribbons of Harris Tweed, chosen for their colour of the rich blue and green hues of Hebridean seas. There is some dried seaweed woven in, some sheep curls from the Isle of Colonsay and a nest of three limpet shells in the centre.
